The core package

The Start-up Website

Everything a new business needs to get online - and nothing you don't.

Year two onwards: £100 a year covers your domain renewal, security certificate and hosting. See what's covered

Your domain name. That's your website address. The first year is included in the price.*

Your first year of hosting. Hosting is what keeps your site live and online.

Three pages. Your Home page, plus two more. Most people choose About and Contact, or Find Us. We'll advise on what suits your type of business, and fit in as much useful information as we can.

Reviews on your About page. Add customer testimonials or reviews to build trust.

A contact form. Messages go straight to your inbox, so your email address isn't sitting on the page for spammers to collect.

Mobile-friendly design. Your site looks right on phones, tablets and computers.

SEO and AEO ready. We set your site up so Google and AI assistants can find it, read it and understand what you do. (AEO means answer engine optimisation. It's how AI tools like ChatGPT decide what to recommend.)

What we need from you

Your logo and preferred branding style, if you have them.

Any text you already have about your business, from social media, business listings, Google Business Profile, any leaflets or advertising.

We'll use it to build your site.

No logo or branding yet? Our Logo and brand starter (£200) gives you a simple logo and brand style to build the site around.

*Some domain extensions cost more to renew, such as .ai, .shop, .biz and .academy. If you choose one of these, a higher annual fee may apply.

Optional Extras

Add extras when you're ready

Start with the basics. Add more whenever your business needs it. Each extra is a one-off price, and we'll set it up for you.

Get found

Business Profiles & Maps
£200

We set up your online business profiles, and check they're accurate and up to date. We include the words your customers actually search for. That covers bios, descriptions, opening times, phone numbers and email addresses.

Includes: Google Business Profile, Google Maps, Apple Maps and your Facebook business page.

Best for: any business with a local customer base or want to attract tourists searching for things to do in the local area.

Blog Set-up
£200

We add a blog to your website, so you can easily post new content. Regular posts help Google and AI assistants find you. We write your first post, set up your categories, and hand it over with full instructions so you can take it from there.

Best for: businesses with specialist knowledge or skills who want to be found online for these keywords

Contactless Review Capture
£200

We make two NFC posters for your business. When a customer taps one with their phone, they go straight to your Facebook or Google business profile to leave a review. It's quicker for them, so more of them do it. Reviews help your search results and, just as importantly, help new customers trust you.

Best for: shops, cafés, salons and holiday lets

Take bookings and orders

Appointment Bookings
£300

We add a calendar booking system to your website, so customers can request appointments. We set up your first three bookable services and show you how to copy them and add more later.

And with our Online Payments and Deposits add-on, you can take deposits, full payments or no payment at all at the time of booking.

Best for: salons, treatment rooms, tutors and trades

Reservation bookings
£300

Running a café, restaurant or accommodation business? We set up a reservation system so people can book tables or rooms in advance. You get an email each time someone books, with their contact details, in case you need to get in touch.

No payment is taken at booking as standard. Want deposits or payments? You'll need our Online Payments and Deposits add-on (see below).

Best for: cafés, restaurants, B&Bs and holiday lets

Ecommerce
£500

We add a web shop to your website so you can start selling online. We set up your category pages and structure, and add five template products as a starting point. To add more, copy a template and change a few details and pictures. We'll talk you through everything.

We also add a secure payment system and connect it to your PayPal or bank account.

Note: Payment providers charge their own transaction fees, usually around 3%.

Best for: shops, cafés, salons and holiday lets

Online payments and deposits
£250

We connect a secure payment system to your booking system, so customers can pay a deposit or the full price when they book. You'll need your own account with the payment provider. We set everything up and test it, including a live payment and a refund.

Look professional

Business Email Set-up
£150

We create a professional email address at your domain, like hello@yourbusiness.co.uk, and set it all up for you. We'll show you how to add it to your phone, laptop or any other device. Already use Gmail? We can forward your messages there instead.

Best for: every new business

Logo & Brand Starter
£200

We create a simple logo and brand style for your business, so your website and everything else looks consistent. You'll get one set of amends in case you don't like the first version. We'll send you the logo files for you to use across all your other advertising, along with your Branding Guidelines doc including fonts and colours (to use in Canva, Photoshop Express etc)

Best for: businesses starting without a logo

Need more than 3 pages?

Extra pages are from £100 per page. Tell us what you need and we'll confirm the price.

Not sure what you need?

Tell us about your business and we'll recommend what's worth doing first. Most start-ups begin with the website, business profiles and business email.

Spread the cost

Starting a business is expensive. You don't have to pay for your website in one go.

With our Buy Now Pay Later options, you can pay for our services over a number of months. It splits the cost, so it's easier to budget while you're still growing.

Subject to status. Terms apply.

Example: the Start-up Website (£400) plus Business profiles and maps (£200) plus Business email set-up (£150) comes to £750. That's only £62.50 a month over 12 months.

After the first year

What it costs to keep your site running

Your first year is covered. After that, there's one simple annual fee: £100 a year. That's about £8 a month.

What the £100 covers
  • Your domain renewal*

  • Your security certificate

  • Your hosting. It's included, so there's no separate hosting bill

  • A yearly security check. We give your website and system a once-over to make sure everything's safe, and that all add-ons are up to date

It renews your website, domain and hosting for another 12 months.

When you pay

We charge the £100 30 days before your website's anniversary. That gives you time, so nothing lapses and your site doesn't go offline.

Prefer to look after it yourself?

You can. We'll hand over all the information you need to take over. But please don't forget: if your domain, security certificate or hosting isn't renewed, your website goes offline and you could lose it.

Unless you're comfortable transferring domains, changing DNS settings and using these systems, we recommend leaving it to us or another web expert.

*Some domain extensions, such as .ai, .shop, .biz and .academy, cost more to renew. A higher annual fee may apply.

FAQs

Questions new business owners ask us

If you can't find the answer to something, just send us a message and we'll get straight back to you.

How much does a start-up website cost?

Our Start-up Website starts at £400, with no VAT to add. That includes your domain name, first-year hosting and three mobile-friendly pages. Extras such as booking, a shop or business email are priced separately, so you only pay for what you need.

Are there any ongoing fees?

Yes, one annual fee from your second year. It covers your domain renewal, security certificate, hosting and a yearly security check. The current amount is in the "After the first year" section above. Higher-cost domain extensions, such as .ai or .shop, may cost more. If a renewal is missed, your website goes offline and you could lose it, so we charge 30 days before your anniversary.

Can I add more pages later?

Yes. Start with three pages and add more whenever you need them. Extra pages and add-ons are priced separately. Outgrown the basics? Take a look at our Local Marketing and Tourism Marketing services.

Can customers pay when they book or make a reservation?

Not as standard. Our booking systems send you each booking and the customer's contact details, but take no payment. If you want customers to pay a deposit or the full price when they book, we can add online payments as an extra.

Do I need a logo or branding?

No, but it helps. If you have them, send them over. If not, our Logo and brand starter gives you a simple logo, logo files and brand guidelines to build your site around.

How long will it take?

Most start-up websites launch in about three weeks from when we have your details. You'll see it before it goes live, with one round of amends included. But if you need something urgently, we'll do our best to meet your deadlines.

Will I own my own domain?

Yes. Your domain is registered in your name.

Will my site appear on Google straight away?

Your site can appear in Google as soon as it has been crawled, which can take anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks. Searching for your business name will usually bring it up quickly. Ranking for other searches, such as "café in Scarborough", takes longer, often weeks or months, depending on the competition. Nobody can promise a position. We set your site up properly so search engines and AI assistants can find and understand it, and adding business profiles, reviews and a blog gives it a stronger start.

What  does SEO and AEO ready mean?

SEO is how search engines like Google find your site. AEO is the same idea for AI assistants. We set up your page titles, descriptions and structure so both can read your site clearly.

Ready to get your business online?

Send us a few details and we'll come back to you within a couple of days to talk it through. No jargon, no pressure.
